That's awesome. If you drive old school truck no need for a gps. LOL Break out the atlas so the new drivers can see how its done. This truck must run pretty good to run those miles in three days. Was it a beating or fun 2 drive?
Anyone ever drive a cabover?

It was fun to drive, first time ever to drive a cabover. Had a couple problems with the truck, like the acelerator kept sticking and had a smoking battery, which I disconnected in Nebraska, other than that, no other issues.
OLDSKOOLERnWV, Lab work and Mattflat362 Thank this. -
I think the truck has 4 cigarette lighter plugs, but none of them worked, getting fuses replaced in the shop today. No atlas map, but it was a straight shot from WA to KY. Easy run.

These pics are awesome. Thanks for sharing. I did a google search for Diamond Reo trucks and found a 1971 cab over with a Detroit Diesel @ 318 hp. I guess they only pulled 48ft trailers with only 318hp. I found it at BangShift.com. It looks like wood on the inside. It's just so cool.
