Here is your answer. Read this article and find a good chiropractic Doctor who is also a physical therapist and nutrionist and physical trainer.

I have felt a very similar paid from sitting for hours on in playing games on PC back in the day. Right arm though, from using the mouse.

Do some push ups. The best thing for a soar muscle is to work it.
Lepton1 Thanks this. -
You have classic "Trap Pain," or "Trapezius Pain," I suspect. I lived with that for 20 years. Then I met the CEO of Alignmed Posture Shirts. They're form fitting poly shirts laced with neurobands that enhance posture and those bands fire your nerves and muscles and increase blood flow. They fight inflammation and all that makes your trap pain dissapear. He tossed me a shirt and said "don't take it off for 2 weeks." I only took it off to launder it for 3 weeks because I was so tired of that pain. When the 3 weeks was gone so was that long hated pain. And in the six years since it hasn't been back. Every driver needs to get one. You can buy it online at: www.alignmed.com
Seriously, this is a great product. -
Driving with arm too high as on window sill can cause thoracic outlet syndrome. Keep your elbow lower, at bottom rib. The condition can be very painful and misdiagnosed as well. Massage therapist diagnosed the condition for me and instructed me to keep arm lower. Macks with their arm rest molded into door are also a culprit for causing driver to sit somewhat crooked causing disc issues in the spine as well as shoulder pain.

Do they come with a tin foil hat?
Neurobands. Mmm-k.RedRover Thanks this. -
Just don't over do it. I was on a 150 push-ups/ day kick for awhile and the repetitive motion kinda screwed up my shoulders. But yeah, lower back pain? you need sit ups.... Arms fatigued from holding a wheel all day; you need to work them.

I strained a muscle in my back a while ago. The Rx was walking, just a little bit here and there, the Dr actually said just walk around the truck once every hour.

Is it just a driving thing or also pushing doors and stubborn latches?
