Anyone else have the exit number wrong for I57 south on 294 in Chicagoland? I believe the Rand Mcnally has it as exit 7 when it's actually exit 8.

Didn't notice this thread when I posted my topic, sorry mods. I'll post here but the forum wont let me delete that topic i started.
Have any of you guys had an issue with the tnd 740 or other model where it refuses to route you to any address manually entered?
Do a guided search to type in the address, any address, it displays the destination on the map, then you hit the route button and it just sends you to the previous destination you had entered?
You can scroll the map and manually tell it to route to an area and it will do it, but if it has to recalculate at all then it once again sends you back to that previois destination? -

I tried doing a factory reset, but get a message during the wipe:
"E:format_volume: make ext4 failed on /dev/block/by-name/UDISK with 1(No such file or directory)"
This makes me think the update might have screwed up the file system....
I have contacted Rand Mcnally about the problem, and being the good guys they are, they are willing to fix my device after the update broke it starting at $99, plus taxes and shipping....
So if anyone can point me to some tools and images that i can use to try and fix this, I would be eternally grateful. -

Problem is, after the subscription and a data plan that covers Canada and USA, you are pretty much paying for a standalone GPS every year. -

the USA year plan is $59.95 (?) and you can Hot spot it off your phone. it really doesn't use much. -
tow614 Thanks this.
