That's always a tough deal.....

 

Bit late with this one for ya but @OLDSKOOLERnWV got me going yesterday with the cheesecake

My stomach felt left out

 

Not many things I like better than hot buttered roastin ears.

 

I escaped the 105 degree heat on a run to the coast where it was only about 80 with a nice, cool breeze coming off of the ocean. I didn't want to come back to the yard.

Went up another goat path today for my final stop.....a road where trucks probably legitimately have no business being. Had just done a drop for this customer at another job site and he says "ok, follow me to the next one it's just a few miles up the road." Snapped this pic as he was hauling some stuff the rest of the way in the back of his pickup. Truth is, he could have offloaded this crap at the first site and used the trailer he had there to get it to this other place. Next time I deliver for this guy I'm going to be a little less accommodating.

Getting turned around was a treat.

I went to the Pete store today. Had mud flaps, some bomb ### half fenders, but didn't have a leveling valve rod or a normally closed air switch for my A/C. So it be Monday before I get to blow out again

 

Had a oh sh## moment this afternoon. Every time I would stop at a light I heard a clunking sound. Thinking the worst a broke brake drum or a wheel coming loose..... nope ended up being the hood nipple on this w9. Where it mounts to the braket broke on the rightside letting the hood slap the side......BIG SIGH OF RELIEF !! easy fix tommorow.

 

I wonder if it had something to do with the engine twisting from all that power under the hood!
