Cheap and not cheap.
Cheap: you're hauling it.
Not cheap: I am hauling it

I guess the op in the broker forum that I asked about this don't like my question. Lol!

I had the same question. The book isn't free, but I was able to find this example table.

What do you consider a good rate for your trucks. I’m getting ready to get my own truck and I don’t want to haul cheap freight but I also want to be reasonable. Any advice would be appreciated

Depends on the lane and commodity... there is no one simple answer.. I do a lot of semi-contract work, I call it that at least, meaning I have brokers who hold the contract with the customer and we have an agreed upon rate I will do the loads for, when I am available. I don't care for the up and down game.
