That is so wrong!!! Their kids would be better off alive. I just don't understand how someone can do that to children.

Both husband and wife were recently fired.

And here's the kicker ---- a supervisor where they worked told them when they showed up for work that they shouldn't have even showed up for work and that they'd be better off if they "just blew their brains out."

When folks are betwixt a rock and a hard place their thinking isn't always rational, as seems to be the case here. And it seems they took the supervisor's advice.

I think we'll be reading and hearing more of this happening, especially here in California. This State is broke and closing agencies and other means of help that were available in the past. With nowhere to go and no one to turn to, folks will do things they wouldn't ordinarily do.

Right now, the places for the people with mental problems are closing and putting those folks on the streets to fend for themselves. A friend of mine is trying to assist a friend of his going through that today. We have homeless people committing crimes just to be locked up as jail is their last and only resort, as the courts and jails are trying to cut their spending. Early releases from jails and reduced sentencing are happening every day as the State is trying to stay afloat by issuing IOU's to cover paying state workers and State tax returns.

It ain't pretty folks.
Just don't judge these folks as though they're thinking rationally. They're not.

 

It's a grim world out there shocky. I sure hope something good happens soon. for everybody's sake.

By the way this story is just sickening to me. We've been thru bad times before and are going thru some now but that kind of action has never even once crossed my mind in any way shape or form.
