Just thinking out loud here. Weld a nice eye hook to the top of the tailgate, get about 250 feet of rope and a big tube and offer to pull people around the lake when you are headed that direction. It’s a blast behind a boat doing 45 mph so I’m sure it would be in this case, and if anything happens, cut the rope and head yonder way

 

You always hear the big stations and a lot of times they are near water. The NC/SC/FL/VA coast always gets out, up around the Great Lakes, LA near the gulf, TX near the gulf, and of course Commiefornia. Us landlocked folks gotta be resourceful or run something extra
