Where are you going to class? And dont worry bout never pulling anything before just means you have no bad habits already. Main pointer I can give you is listen to your instructor at school Jamie, Bill, Steve, Harold, and I cant member the others name are all #### good at their job, and been doing it awhile. It is a great starter company, but there are also a bunch of drivers who've been here 10+yrs. Im going on my 3rd. Alot of people here have left before and came back (like me). You learn quick the grass isnt always greener on the other side. No union but they have a 401k with compnay match up to something I dont remember off top my head lol

    CJ701 Thanks this.

Thanks keen, I'll be going to school in Eden, NC. I live a couple hours away. I was told that I can even drive home on weekends those first 3 weeks if I like.

Lastly, My son will be graduating from basic in mid October in Great Lakes IL. t that time I should only be 1 or two weeks into my 15k miles. Will there be an issue for me to leave for 3-4 days to go see him?

Just let Millis know about it asap and it wont be an issue. As for per diem or straight pay everyones financial situation is different so you should really talk to an accountant and see what they say about your situation. With that said because of us not being able to itemize anymore, Id think per diem would benefit most . With that said it lowers your gross income so if you arw going to be getting a home loan or something like that soon you may want straight pay to show a higher gross.

So my class was delayed a bit but I am starting on July 30th in WI now. Super ready to kick butt and take names. Passed my DOT physical and alll tests first go round no issues. I think Jamie might be my trainer according to Peggi. I think I got that right lol.

Jamie is your instructor at school in Richfield. Your trainer will be assigned to you midway thru class. With that said, where are you from because I'll be getting a student from that class that begins July 30th.

NVM just seen you said Ft Wayne. Most of my students are from IL or Southern WI or Stl for hometime purposes. Im sure I'll meet you in richfield though

You pay $100 upfront to reserve your spot in class. 1st day of class you pay $400 and then when you get on your trainera truck they will deduct like $30 a week for the 1st yr. If you stay a year then the rest of the cost is erased

    CJ701 and bdg31020 Thank this.
