BTC Memphis, TN orientation and trainer experience blog.....

Is BTC still hiring students there web site doesn't show they do. I'm in school now and there memphis location is really close by.

 

Unless web pages are regional, which I tend to doubt, the main page for their website that I see does indicate that they accept applications from school graduates. The web page has a large circle with BTC in the center. In the lower left arc (from approximately 6 o'clock to 9 o'clock) is a hot link entitled "STUDENT GRADUATES". That should be the link you want to investigate.

 

Due to freight being SLOW I do not think BTC is accepting drivers # this time. You might try calling and talk to recruiting dep't.It couldn't hurt to get an application in for when business picks up...

 

I live in Birmingham and I'm looking to start cdl training at the local CC in January. I came across BTC in a little book I got from the Pilot down here off of hwy 78. They seen like a good company to work for and all the q&a I wouldve have u have seem to covered. Hope I can get on after my classes are done.

 

Hey drivers, I failed a drug screen in 2004. Do you think BTC would even consider hiring me?

 

I would surely hope they would not! There are thousands of reliable, professional, and safe drivers out of work right now looking for gainful employment and hopefully they would hire one of them before someone who fails drug tests.

 

Give them a call.The failed drug screen was 6 yrs ago.If you are up front w/ them and have an otherwise good record,there shouldn't be any problem.

 

i am leaving hillsdale,mi on june 12 2010 on a greyhound for memphis. I am nervious but it will go away ,heck i did 9 years as a Navy Seabee, can do ,i think BTC will be a good fit for me. well hope to meet some of ya down the road!!!

 

Looks like we'll be in the same orientation on the 14th. Hopping on a greyhound from Cleveland on the 12th.
