I've read and reread your post, especially the part about you thinking that you're a failure or that you've failed the important people in your life. If you have thought about doing something that would take your life away, please don't... That would be failing them. Right now they are probably as devestated as you are and you sure dont want them to feel as if they failed if you do something that you really dont want to do. They would be left wondering what they did wrong or what they could have done and would grieve the rest of their lives. Remember what I said about the light at the end of the tunnel, it's really NOT a train. Take the advice that I gave you in the last post. We are all survivors, remember that. I know what you felt working for them and how you feel now, but believe me all of that will pass and you'll wonder why you ever felt that way. There are jobs and you'll get one and go on down the road. One day you'll wonder why you ever felt this bad over a job. When you didn't respond to my post, I actually started worrying about you. Think about it, we are total strangers and I am worried about you. Pretty incredible, huh? Take some deep breaths and get on with your life. Stay in touch so the mother hen in me doesnt come out. LOL. Monday is tomorrow make your list of "to do's" and get on with the program. If your depression about the job and other things youre thinking of doesnt go away, get help. Once again you can get free help. Stay in touch and I'll do whatever I can to help you out.

Thanks again for everything I have applied for unemployment in my own state not NE as Werner wants you to do and I have been applying for jobs like a madman since monday and of course with as slow as things are right now I havent heard anything as of yet. The weekend was rough I did some things to myself that will probaly take awhile to go away and was stopped from doing the finishing touches. I am starting to feel a bit more hopeful but I have never been one who likes to not work so not being at work makes it difficult for me at the moment but I am starting to make it through. I will do my best to keep in touch with you and let you know good or bad how it goes.

Actually I would like to hear from you everyday, not once in awhile. I want to know what you are doing to help yourself. I know its hard to not feel sorry for yourself but you have to do that. Should I ask what you did or am I better off not knowing? There are so many things that you can get free, counseling is just one of them. It's no sin to use them, it is a sin if you don't. You owe your family and friends at least that much. Keep looking for a job, there is something out there even if it's not exactly what you want, you might consider taking it until the right thing comes along. Don't forget... a lot of us have been in the same boat, it took on water but it sure as h*** didnt sink. But YOU have to start paddling and bailing out the water at the same time. Stay busy. Send me a post everyday if you would. I also have issues in my life in addition to no job, so lets get on with the program. Remember, everyday.

Here's a great idea!!! Instead of doing this on posts, let's just do the private message thingy. You and I both have enough posts to do it. Then, it's private, ya know!?!?!?!? What do you think???

You should be happy leaving Werner (and most other trucking companies). No strings attached, no Fleace, no truck payments = you are better off than most.

Use www.indeed.com and find a company that needs a cdl holder in your area. (type in "cdl" and your zip in your search.

what is "fleace"? and I believe he was a company driver so no truck payment anyway. but he needs some support until he gets back to work.

hey, thanks so much for the link and being a good person to take the time to send the post. Hopefully that will be the means to a good job.

Indeed is great for finding work. You will see some duplicates of jobs (it scams jobs off all the sites and even local papers.

Now get that resume done and email it out. Send send send.

Indeed bad: -you quicky see how bad some companies try to hire =many JB hunt and CRE ads are placed all over =they all show up =stay away from the scammers.

By searching for "cdl" you even get the local marketing outfits (Coke, Frito-Lay etc). -Hey, beggars can be choosers and free food isn't always bad either, home every night.

MADEMISTAKESB4> I LOVE YOUR NAME! Reminds me of a Bumper Sticker I seen one time > Love it!

"If you think you're so perfect,, than you should try walking on water"
That means , In this life, Nobody's Perfect. We're all Misfits.

Sounds like you ought to Pat YOURSELF on Your Back and Move On !

You said you did Nothing Wrong. Why Let it Bother You???

Do You fear of Not finding another job?????

Or other issues bothering you with despair?

You're from Pennsylvania,,, and so am I... there's lots of Driver positions in this state.
There's PA Career Link! There's the Craigslist! And if you know of a company around where you live,,, just go there. You don't have to wait for someone to advertise.
I also know of a small company in Virginia, running local from PA to VA back and forth. If you're interested,,, all I need, is to make one phone call to them, for you. They won't worry about your report. A nice small family company. They hire on quite a few drivers here in PA. Their just right over the state line.
If interested , let me know. It's the Least I can do for a driver!

These FREAK'N TRUCKING COMPANIES! I SEE TOO MANY DRIVERS GOING DOWN,, ALL BECAUSE OF ,, NOT THE ECONOMY, BUT THESE TRUCKING COMPANIES!

Hey mademistakesb4 if you don't mind reading a few words from a stranger? It sounds like your heading down a road you've been down before.. Depression is a slippery Basterd like that..
A few tips from someone that's been knocked out more than a few times in that ring...
Depression is a disease and a bad one at that...It has a terminal end. lifelong depression has been shown to take more years from your life than smoking...
It helped me when I started to see my depression for what it is an illness..Pulling yourself up out of depression or just stop feeling sorry for your self is a bunch of BS...
You do need to fight it.. But that means treating it for what it is....Depression is a evil infective alien Basterd that invades your mind and tries to Kill You...
You get an infection you take antibiotics you break you leg you put it in a cast...Your deppressed, do the same...Better Living though chemistry Baby...That's what I found after Years of feeling crappy about feeling crappy and staring into the abysse.."And yes it does start to stare back"..
It takes allot of pain to get their but eventually you get to the point where you want to live..There's no dirty fighting when it comes to survival...
    Anyway good luck...
