So I could be right. Since you started at $600. Not a big deal. Unless you get charged $2500. And no flywheel resuracing.

I replaced it once on the road on my freightliner century,it was $2000,parts and labor,so it should be less than that in Chicago.
On my Volvo i did it together with transmission,si not sure about the price just for the clutch.

The parts alone if you use genuine Eaton will cost 850. to $950.
I would say 1600. to $2000.00 total job.
