No I’m not. I am local now. Did 12 years otr for McKenzie now run hourly local.
According to the gold ones here that’s their rate also they stay out 3+ weeks. I’m out of Panama City.
The problem I hear from them is they sit a lot???

I can't say I sit much. The keep me quite busy.
-
You doing the chemtrade loads?
-
Those are done by the Leeds terminal. I've done some when asked to help them here and there, but most loads dispatched from Charlotte seem to be Mallard Creek Polymers or Dow. Once I leave the area it could be just about anything.

I realize this is an old thread....any feedback on regional out of bbn pace terminal.....hoping to start soon?
-
Lifechange05 Thanks this.

Pace is a great terminal to work out of , lots of out and back type runs .
Lifechange05 Thanks this. -
Another quick question, what is training pay like now and how was the ergo testing....I'm assuming since I passed Schneiders then their test should be no problems
-
Its around 100.00 per day at orientation , then certification training , really not too bad . They give you a rental car , to goto orientation and get around while at orientation , your own room and a nice hotel , paid lunch at orientation , it's a good company. They treat you like a person and not a number. They just put out the orientation and training pay , my buddy just came back and had to do it over again lol. I read the pay part and was thinking it was pretty good . -
Is this generally southern regional? Do they have an experience requirement?
Is most loading or unloading done by the customer?
I'm currently a yard driver with occassional weekend freight shuttles, but I have about 10 months experience OTR/Regional running Dry Van. I recently got my endorsements and thinking of returning to the road with tanker.Last edited: Aug 25, 2018
