License Suspension

The problem is the license suspension. Some insurance companies won't let the company hire you. Try anyway though, with any company you want. Some may be able to cut some slack.

And start behaving like a professional driver right now. Everything thing you do behind a steering wheel of any vehicle will affect your employability.

 

Once you get a school start date, apply to all of them and take the best offer.
Job offers will be contingent on successfully completing cdl school and having any required endorsements.

 

How can you be 21 and not be working at some job to pay a small fine like that? Make a no sense. I question your ability to handle trucking with a work ethic like that.

 

I grew up in Louisiana and it is really possible - if you don't have an education or a car... or happen to be of a different color than the person hiring, you can have a hard time of it. $100 is a lot when all you have $10.
