So all in all 50,000 truck notes/maintaince a year to have the privilege of making hirschbach money. So yes I say he's getting hosed. Call the recruiter and they will explain and send you a flyer. The numbers won't lie. Add in all other deductions Physical Dam Ins,Bobtail,Fuel,Occ,Base Plates, 2290,Fuel Tax, Escrow,and cost of living on the road. So with that said you would Net less than a Swift rookie driver. Trust me its a bad program for the driver great for the company and cheer leaders who recruit on youtube for referrals.

 

I was with back for many, many years. I bought one of those cabovers from them. At the time it was a good deal. Young man work your butt off, make your MONTHLY payment. After 2.5 years get your title.
Also after a year and half, you could go to ANY dealer in America. Find the truck you wanted make a deal with them. Then navl would finance it.
(They would ask you are you sure you like/approve this deal? Then you were stuck with deal you made. But they would beat up dealer got a lower CASH price. Send them a check. 2 days later you drove off lot)
Out of my class of about 10 guys. I know 4 of us who stuck around for years, I still talk to 2 of them daily.
The guys who didn't make it? Well they probably didn't make it anywhere.
Sure I heard plenty of stories about them running you hard. Then cutting back loads once you got close to payoff.
