They don’t seem to hire down my way... which is the main issue I’m currently facing...

That’ll be solved by 2020 at the latest but I was kinda hoping to jump ship this fall.

Yeah boy. 32 from Bruce to Water Valley will make your booty pucker for sure.

I cut my teeth on the back roads around N Miss. My granddad had a 25 truck fleet back then. I was spotting trailers from the shop to the furniture plants when I was 14. In a cabover 4070 Transtar. I didn't even have a driver's license. Not sure if grandpa was brave or stupid, but that's how he rolled. He would send me on a 600 mile trip by the time I was 16.

If I am not mistaken right there where 32 splits with 15 near Houlka just South of the intersection is that old place with all that rigging sitting there.

Its been years but I know there was a 4070 sitting there, along with one on 9 outside of Bruce. They finally got that one off the side of 6 in the pasture east of Oxford. I probably am familiar with the furniture spots you went to.

Yeah some of them are still around. Most are long gone now. They used to build upholstered furniture in all kinds of buildings, barns, sheds, old school houses.

I found a pic. I use to drive this one every chance I got. 400 Cummins with a 13 double over, twin straights. It would pass everything on the road in it's day. IMG_0719.JPG
