I am getting exhausted dealing with 53 feet in city traffic. Is there something else I can do with my CDL?
Talked to several veterans who tell me you never get over the daily stress of driving.
This stress really isn't for me, but would like to try something smaller and perhaps less stressful?
I saw a box truck parked in a Chipotle and was sick with envy... we can never go to Chipotle with this 53 foot anchor...
Does box truck or straight truck work exist? Is it profitable?
It seems like it has to be less stressful... But I am frequently wrong.
What else can I do with a CDL?

I once looked at CDL jobs on the Hawaii Craigslist out of curiosity. For the reasons you mentioned. They had them.

V3 Transportation has been running ads for box truck and cargo van drivers. They hire new cdl grads and also cdl permit drivers.

I'd say there's a lot of segments of the trucking industry that don't involve dragging a box across the country. Dump trucks, cement mixers, flatdeck picker trucks (like lumber yards use), tow trucks, hot shot/expediter etc.

Panther Premium Logistics is the same as V3.
- Cargo vans
- Sprinter vans
- Straight trucks
- Tractor trailers
- Flatbeds
- Those cargo vans run all over the country.

I've seen those cargo vans & sprinter vans set up with a bunk and storage for clothes.
