ECM has nothing to do with rpm:speed at a given gear.

looks like sub-3.0:1 rears, not good at all for pulling any kind of hill. -
-
most transmissions are .73 or .74 in top gear, unless you are running something special which you aren't.

Yeah, I'm pretty bummed that they're foolish enough to buy Internationals again. I rarely have problems with my Mack. I wonder if the Cummins in the Internationals even pull as well as the Mack's MP8s.
-
Some are brand loyal,. No matter what they put out in equipment.
-
It depends on what size engine they get. The international 9200 eagle had the 410 hp Cummins and they did okay, but not as good as mack engine
-
If the entire fleet was so crappy I must question why the entire fleet has not quit as a single body at once.
-
Because there is more to a company than the equipment. They pay well and are flexible with home time. That's why I stay.rhouston24, homeskillet, yankatank and 1 other person Thank this.

ah...so they took you out of the Mack and put you in an International, as well? I ran into a guy from AZ yesterday, in Markham, that said his whole rear end ended up smoking. They towed it to a dealership, said it'd take 3 weeks to get it fixed. So he flew home, then flew back to truck after 2 weeks of sitting in the hotel. I know all about sitting in a hotel...after day 4, it really starts to SUCK! haha
