    That is when you find out how much pushing power you have in reverse if the guy behind won't move / is absent from his truck.

    Took TA long enough how to figure out how to remodel. FJ has had this figured out for some time now.

    I think they may need a new LOAD for that load. Feel bad for the driver with the fried truck.

    Dispatcher- "Your truck is melted? Like, how bad? Can you limp it to a truckstop? You're at the TA? Great! Just get an estimate and we'll cut 'em a p.o."... .

    Didn't read the sub-headline carefully, thought it said that the "TRUCK that was fueling behind the TA" was down for an undetermined time"...then scrolled down to see the picture.

    Yes, I believe that truck will be down for quite a while....

    When I started driving back in '09 again after about 12 months off, company said you gotta go with a trainer for 3 weeks.

    Ok. Get paid full rate. Fine, let's just team.

    Long story short - I'm driving down I - 81, get to about a 4 hour parking lot caused by fatality accident.

    So the dude that's my trainer opens curtains and says " I'm having chest pains."

    I said, " I'll get bear, he can get a medic."

    He says no, just park at truck stop. Traffic starts moving, Divine Intervention takes place cause I get to the Love's where 81 & 40 come together, some guys pulls out, this is like 0200.

    I park, call paramedics, they come, dude is on the way to hospital in like 10 minutes.

    So the next morning I call hospital, they have him scheduled for an stint in his heart that morning.

    This guy has been with this company for 18 years, same dispatcher.

    I call her then. Her very first question, "How's the load?"

    nah, poor dude next to him went in, dropped a duce, went to subway (toasted, natch), got the newest issue of the trucking paper, browsed the chrome section, chatted up the girl behind the counter, got some gum because he wasn't getting any play and couldn't understand why, chatted up a different girl behind the counter and then walked out and said, "dang. All them women are the same. WHAT?????!!!!"

    Nope. But you won't be getting fuel there anytime soon.
    But the good news is that Subway has a new sammich. It's called the "Trucker Sucker.". A bunch of baloney and a drink for $10.99.
