i have read this site some in my free time and i see allot of things on the site for non-exp. drivers.
I'm looking for a good company for a driver with exp.
right now the company i drive for is OK but they are so hell bent on trying to do head hunts for drivers i just dint need or want to have to think of it constantly. i have enough issues out here on the road to worry about just trying to pay bills and get wife and kids in the black. i don't want to have to be told i idle to much if i idel to much in a 24hr. period

I don't idle the truck i have shut them off for years every time i stop other then if I'm sleeping or driving the thing is off.
half of the time if i Can stand to do it at night i will even shut it off then. i do not have a apu in the truck.
but don't need the headaches. i was called on this the other day because the truck was idled for 12hrs. with in a 24 hour time frame.
now keep in mind i was in Co. in the colder weather and 10hrs of this was the break we are allowed to idel on. so this mean 2hrs. i idled the truck.
this is also when i was sitting out in the middle of no ware for a 36hour reset.
I just don't get it. i know where the idal is coming from or at least i think i do. during this time i had to run the truck to heat it up in side of the cab again, also do to watching my TV etc... it causes the bat. to shut down so i have to start the truck and let it run for a while to get it to charge the bat. enough to allow it to turn on the T V again etc...

So ideally i would like to find a company that is 100% APU

    kool thanks.
are there any others out there? APU would be great but just someone not so damed picky on the idling would be nice. i know i sound like who cares how much fuel they burn but it really is not that i just don't want to have to worry about going over their damed min. in a 24hr period and then getting axed for it.
