Starting from scratch I've researched a dozen companies in the DFW area and now to narrow it down and pull the trigger. Looking for a company to get my CDL with, My END goal being tanker division. I don't mind fullfilling a yr contract with the right company, I've got Steven's, FFE, US xpress In my line of sight. What I'm asking for is personal experiences, suggestions on which direction is ideal, or maybe any other companies that may have better options. keeping In mind who would have decent pay during training, and while on the road. Thanks in advance.

Stevens and FFE both have tanker divisions. To start out with, you can make good paychecks with FFE LTL division. Pictured are FFE and Stevens tankers.
I think you have to work the reefer division for 6 or 12 months before switching to tankers.Puppage and LiLjohnny5 Thank this. -
Thank you sir

FFE does hair follicle drug test.
Stevens does urine drug test. -
That's not a problem.
