Can't tell you as far as company drivers but Lease and o/o Pretty much 6 and older as long as you have a signed release form. I think it's like 10-25 per week for insurance on the rider. I forget at this point :biggrin_2554:

**Update** Sadly my fleet (A3) is being dismantled :( My DM is becoming a DM manager so probably given it a month and if I'm not running as I have been either calling it quits with england or finding a dedicated to latch onto. Being so #### close to my goals it kinda stings but it's the way it seems to go in this buisness lol...

We shall see... there's a dedicated wal-mart run in need and from what a buddy of mine that is running it told me they have more miles than they have drivers to cover I am sure I can take a nice chunk for them ;)

Oh.. Paperless logs.. Kinda looking forward to it! A few ppl I know from Central were paper at one point and made the switch and they have increased production 15-35% so hell, if it's working for them 4 clowns it #### sure will for me hahaha

simple math for those who can't afford a calculator...

    8.75x65mph=568.75 miles x 7 = 3981

I'm just going to leave it at that. and it's no and FUDGE. do the math and then come here with an educated post. where is your fact to back up claims that I run anyway BUT legit? Also, read the other 8 pages of posts, you could very well learn something.

This ain't a long winded thread about BS this is fact. Please don't make a half ### comment and not back it up. I have seen enough and I am a bit tired of it at this point.

well c r england master. You cant log 65 mph in your logbooks unless you do all your driving in 70mph states all the time. And beings how your CRE truck doesnt go that fast your sol. Of course you already knew that from working at cre for so long right. If you log by way of a calculator you are going to run into trouble when you run into a DOT bear that actually has a brain.

What Beantown has left out is that it is possible with CR to run 7 days a week with no reset.

CR uses loose leaf logs. The 7th day is discarded. As long as he doesnt exceed 10 hours of drive time per day, he can essentially keep runing the 70 hour week 365 days a year. Granted he wont see the 34 hours off. The trainer I had would run 600 miles aday. Sometimes 650, yet I also saw him doing alot more stuff that was illegal too that I wont get into.

The only real problem with learning with CR is, the trainers dont like to drive at night. LOL but you get to learn only night driving. BIG GRIN

    BeanDown,

    Did you leave room for:

    Deliveries
    fuel Stops
    City driving
    Shopping for groceries

I think the most I have seen without fudging the books was 3500 and that was tight. If you are dispatched at 50mph and run only 65 you can only 3500 in a week. I do not believe you could do 4000miles in a CR truck. Now with a truck thats not governed, I'll believe you. But you will have to fudge logs in order to get 4K a week.

I have been holding back about coments here about c r e
OK yes I had some minor experience with them. But I Excaped before they had me.
They told me since I had proir drv. exp. and a 100% clean dac that all i needed to do was go thru 3 1/2 dys. oraintation and drv tests and dot drug test = OK, No Prob. [I was going to do a 6 month demo lease] so got my bus to burns harbor, indiana. LOL anyway = nthe 3 1/2 dy thing thats true. But= Slam the Air Brakes on....
this I wasnt told = shhhhhh = secert dont tell anyone......................
Sine I had been off the nroad for more then 90 dys. they were going to make me go out with a trainer for 10 to 14 days, then come back and restest = and then wait for an available lease truck. WHAT DID THEY SAY ???????????????????????????????
Well im mostly a mellow person, but yeah I was pissed off........
And so were others there. I wasnt the only one. In FACT = One guy got so pissed off at one of the trainers = that the guy PUNCHED out the trainer. LOL YeaH it happened. they offered me a so called appoligy then said well we can put U on right away. with a trainer/partner drv/team , huh what, yup. they need teams real bad. no thanks so my choice is stay there or leave. i spoke to other drvs waiting around there. they told me they had been waiting 2-3 wks. for a truck. yes co drvs and lease drvs waiting & waiting making NO MONEY. I said please give me a bus ticket home. im not staying they said NO.. And the cop hanging out [perment assignment] protecting lying cre employees, from new pissed off drvs. I managed to get home ok. oh by the way there are some so called drvs oh here who are actually arent drvs and they are company sline that is here to defend there slimy co's. be careful what is really true. I admit I got fooled =since like many others were broke and these sline companys are really takening advantage of good hard working people. At least I got away before they were able to get me.
