    We had the same thing happen on a rental we had in Key West. Had to go swap out cars.

    Certainly!

    This ELD nonsense has inflated the asking prices to a point it’s almost laughable.

    @OLDSKOOLERnWV

    Been meaning to get around and ask you this.

    Can you stow your conestoga in the front, let’s say 5 feet, of deck and properly keep it in place and leave the remaining 43’ of deck space open for oversized freight?

    This is what I’m talking about. Possible?

    I know you can “breakdown” a side kit and do something similar. Curious if your conestoga is capable of it.

    I can't speak for OlSkooler setup; you can order them so that they can be stored forward against the headboard- its more like 8' than 5'; and requires the top bows to be setup a bit different... I don't recall the exacts, the salesman started to explain but I dgaf that ain't something I need myself.
    Makes sense if you stay hooked to the same wagon and have some oversize freight here n there & don't have the option to go by the yard/house and remove the tarp kit.
