Which ELD did you go with

    Exactly. None of the edits or moving around below the threshold will be seen by law enforcement at roadside inspection mode or terminal audit. BUT if you are in a lawsuit I'm sure they would get it.

    Moving into or out from a dock at a shipper or reciever is quite clearly on duty time and is supposed to interrupt any 2 or 8 hour split break. Moving at a truck stop to avoid a noisy rattling stinky apu is an entirely different thing. That is clearly an off duty move.

    Even so, if split breaking, the off duty move interrupts the required 8 hour continuity. You make that move then you have to stay there to complete remaining hours to get full 10.

    That's only HOS theory. I don't care what others do. I know, if i am at a shipper/receiver for more than 2,25 hours, at least 2 hours will be line 2. It is about knowing what and when they can get you for.
