Not really. Been getting about a half inch every 10 days. Enough to give people hope but not enough to do much good. Pastures are just about fried as well as the crops on the light sand. Corn on sand looks like pineapple plants. Heavy ground is doing fairly well but use at least 2 inches over about 3 days

Everything is lookin good up here. We have been catching some good timely rains lately and this week its gonna be in the mid 70's so that will help keep the corn and beans from burning up.

We have been having bad storms roll through here quite a bit but luckily not too much damage on our fields other then a lot of rain in a quick hurry and maybe some pea size hail. If we can get the crop in the bin we should have a pretty good year.

    Thanks for asking!

Can't go wrong with real estate investments as long as theirs no liens on title or deed restrictions that are a problem. Owner financing isn't so bad either at the low interest rates right now so you can hold onto your cash reserves. Sounds like a nice place to kick back and drown worms!

You probably know most of this anyway but just make sure riparian rights to water line/lake front front are included and stated clearly and id check mineral rights as well through a local attorney that does titles.

Found me $5 and a forklift operator.

Surprised they’ve stooped to be that cheap nowadays. Granted, he’s a Chicago native so I guess it fits the stereotype....
