I was in Carlsile PA on Superbowl night, went to Petro they was charging 12.75 to watch the game. What 12.75 to watch a game that should have been free like they dont charge enough for everything else. I ended up going over to Flying J and watched it for free. And had a really good seat i might add. Oh the other thing Petro only had limit seating and was not showing the game in the drivers lounge... Sad shame on Petro like they dont make enough from us.

yeah, that's ridiculous. I was at home but there is no way that I woul've paid that much if anything to watch the big game. It is sad to see the level that these truck stops will stoop to make a buck.

    Hey Tom,

They did that last year unbeliveable it was at the same petro in carlisle i took a seat in the dinning room the waitress said the section was sold out ontop of a meal you have to pay for a seat just to watch the superbowel.

I am a loyal custumer to petro but for a truckstop that is voted the best unbeliveable i am ashamed.

if the superbowl was12.75 then the daytona 500 should be around $20.00. it's nothing but a scam. if they are going to charge for entertainment at least give you afree buffet to go with it. but we all know that ain't gonna happen.

That would be the last time I ever stopped there again. That kind of thing irritates me to the core. Like the pay for parking thing. If everyone would quit patronizing these places they would stop it.

Yeah that is just silly, I sent a complaint to petro and to nfl. Yall should do the same atleast to the petro site maybe they'll get the hint. Every time I ever have a problem or complaint I send a complaint or email on there website and have had several managers call me up and chatted with them about it.

Well got an email from the manager of the petro this morning. He stated they were charging 12.00 plus tax to sit in the dining room which was good for a buffet or whatever you wanted off the menu. He said they only did this because in the past theyve had people come into the dining room with arbys or mcd's sit down and watch the game without buying food in the dining room. They werent charging just to watch the game just to gurantee a purchase in the restauraunt. He said in the future they will put up a sign stating that the charge is basically prepaying for the food so they can have the seating for people who want to eat.

Well then that makes sense then. I can't say i blame him for doing that now. He had the right idea but his lack of business sense and the way he handled it was unprofessional. Looks like he may have learned his lesson and will do a better job of getting signs put up. And it actually does not sound like that bad of a deal. 12$ for anything off the menu or buffett and the SB. Heck a big steak on there menu is more than 12$. And i could eat definitly more than 12$ in a buffett over the time it took to show the SB.
