Those hay haulers scare the #### out of me worse than anything else on the roads. In the farming area around Edmonton I see at least 1 big round bale in the ditch every year. Hate to think what one of those would do to another vehicle.

With the way that's secured, that load is going to shift regardless of any sudden stops. Pot holes, vibrations from the road. It will shift and the dunnage will walk.

Where I used to drive in Africa I heard more than I care to remember , "It's heavy it won't move" thenthey would not secure the load at all. Pictured above is a common type of item they would not secure at all and what happens. IMO this is a lucky result as it did not shear the top of the cab off.

There is, right now, an old guy who hauls shingles out of NC. He does not strap a single pallet he hauls.

He pulls a curtainside, like I do. That's how I heard about him. He hauled shingles from NC to TN, opened his curtain and nothing was strapped. When I pulled in two weeks later, the yard guys were recording me opening my curtain. When they saw the straps, they stopped and told me about the other guy.

    Some people....

Were you driving around south dakota or what? We get ######### doing that all the time out here, they somehow think they don't have the their #### down because they're a farmer.
