I pull their trailer and they pay my insurance. I'm getting good pay for loads, plus the home time I want and how long I want.

I know i avg myself $2.00 a mile at VN so for other i cant say i know we was leased to a other company and they was paying peanuts could only take home $2,200 if we was luckey try to pay driver and all the other things we was going broke . We been over at Vn we havent had that bad of numbers , it depends on driver and owner of truck how they do , we had a driver turning down most loads and i was like dang no money making then we talked to dispacher and found he was refusing loads all time replaced him and never had that problem again even signed more trucks on . I know all trucker in this blog thinks they know every thing but they never do thats why the complain so much about others but never look at the prob in the mirror its all ways some one screwing them over , i been screwed over but you dont see me posting bout it just learn and move on

I signed on to Voyager Nation in early 2018. I think I was most impressed with their communications - Jason was very responsive, not a bad guy to deal with. However, I never made much money so do not expect to gross much. Unfortunately, I had a driver who got to FL to deliver a load and decided not to. I was charged a late fee, load abandonment fee and I was not paid for the getting the load to FL from South Carolina (I think this was the state). The guy who picked up the load (delivery was 45 minutes away) was only paid $300 so they robbed us both.

2 weeks later I get an email that my lease is being terminated because I had a negative settlement(per contract I was supposed to be given a 2 week notice in writing). This was also conveniently the week of IFTA. Total was less than $900.00. So what was my escrow for? Speaking of escrow - when I asked for it to be released, I find out about a cargo claim that, at that point, was 4 months old. It was for a water leak for a trailer that I rented - so how is that my fault? After my 90 days, they settled the claim at my expense so I will not be getting my escrow returned. They did the same thing to the gentleman who picked up my abandoned load. He left and suddenly he has a cargo claim.

By the way, when I called to get a contact number for the owner, who is in the Tampa office almost every day, Mike Kazan, I was told that his information could not be given out. Really? Your company is not that big and it shows how much you care about your owner operators.

My advice is to go somewhere else if you want to make some good money and not be stiffed out of your escrow when you do part ways.

Any questions just send me a message.

    Lonesome Thanks this.
