The top growers are OD, Estes, and SAIA. Companies that are growing fast are also growing their seniority boards. These are the companies you want to look at as a new hire.
LtlAnonymous Thanks this. -
Saia is out, for their driver-facing camera practices.

I applied to em all in Atlanta. Only two to give me a call we’re XPO (Cartersville) and ABF (Conley). XPO takes three years to get to max pay, ABF takes one year. I went with ABF and start next month. Some people will say the background check process takes a month or more. I had a job offer 11 days after the interview.
LtlAnonymous and speedyk Thank this. -
Due to the driver shortage, I'm sure they, like most companies, have had to loosen their hiring practices a bit.
-
And I'm definitely not saying that's why you got hired. I'm just saying the process has probably been shortened.

Out of curiosity, what is top scale pay at abf? -
Yes it was mentioned in the interview that he could barely keep up with replacing retirees. I’m sure it helps I’m not a job hopper and have clean driving record and whatnot but for certain the shortage is a big factor.LtlAnonymous Thanks this.

64 cpm linehaul. You start at 90% and then after one yr you are at full pay. I honestly don’t remember the hourly rate from calling and talking to so many places but it works the same way starting at 90%LtlAnonymous Thanks this.
