I wish a driverless truck would have delivered this 2nd stop. You back on the door inside the building and with my wheelbase, I can only barely open the door, suck in, and squeeze out. And they were busting up ground in front of the gate, so you had to figure out where to turn around and come in from the opposite way going wide. Almost have to hit Moron and Sons Paving, and squeeze in here, then play musical trucks.

Wow that's nice with 100 watts. I hear skip alot when the atmosphere is right. Mostly on the sand pile or on the Monteagle and higher elevations. Sounds like you guys are right next to me. Is ch 19 a mud ducks preference or do they seem to hang out out on a certain ch? I considered a 10 meter radio in the truck but never got around to it because of the ham requirements...

19 is just the channel all truckers talk on to relay information. Skip runs on all channels, weather dictated. Its in front and behind of rain storms and dependent on sunspots too. I have talked skip on 2 watts before. Right now skip is strong, get you a decent setup and try it. Doesn't need to be a 10 meter, and there are plenty of people running 10 meter without a ham ticket. If you need any help, just send me a PM.

My dream setup at the Esso by the yard. They often drop trailers and do cross loading through us.

If any of you are wondering if its possible to get a level one inspection where they measure brake stroke, check all the lights paperwork and all and don't even do a walkaround, its entirely possible. I know a guy it just happened to and he's gonna get $100 for a clean inspection.

You've got skill if you can measure steer axle brake stroke and never pop the hood. Sorry Wore!
