Bad batteries?

    Always start with basic cable connections. Check your alternator cables for tightness and corrosion. The alternator feed cable will connect to the truck either at the start or some kind of main power distribution spot. Not sure on a Volvo. If all your connections are good, then you need to test the output amperage of the alternator.

    Take a set of good battery cables ( jumpers) and start with your ground on your battery's then go to the frame , cab ,motor , ect and see if that makes a difference . If it does then you found your bad cable . Make sense
