Hello i recently passed my road test July 15, all this time I been talking with Schneider because they have an account that is home daily and open for any CDL holders and I know they provide more training for 3 weeks for new drivers. They ran my MVR and I just need to give them a call to set up a start date. Yesterday I spoke with a J.B. hunt recruiter and told me they have a position for new drivers (intermodal , home daily)and will spend time 4-6 weeks with a trainer. But from my understanding J.B. doesn’t provide additional training and need atleast 2 months experience to work for them. So my question is do you guys think the offer from J.B. might be legit? I don’t want to show up and fail something with the driving part and not get hired.
Thank you guys, I’m also new to the forums.

It is a good thing to start your career with a local gig.
You’ll get lots of practice backing, loading and just getting use to trucks and traffic interactions. Plus being home is nice.
Later you’ll have more confidence for when/if you decide to go on the big highway. -

Welcome!
I might have misunderstood but t sounds like you are concerned about a road test with J.B. I also took your post to mean that you already have your cdl. If so, you shouldn’t have any problems with a road test. Few megas are very strict about that and even in those cases, you will usually get a few tries. -
Sorry, I forgot to actually answer your question: Yes, the offer is legit. As always though, make sure you and the recruiter are on the same page about exactly what job you’re interested in.
