Has anyone gone through Richie Bros. to buy or sell?
If so, tell about your experience with them and the auction process.

never bought or sold anything there. but my company hauls there stuff alot. from what i can see anyone can buy or sell there. i mean as long as you have the cash. i know in order to buy from ritchie you have to have a secured account. hope that helps some.
Working Class Patriot Thanks this. -
I used to work the auctions for freight. One thing I noticed is that most people had a limit on what they would spend, say $10,000. They would pay $9,999 for garbage but wouldn't go $11,000 for something twice as good. It is a crap shoot. If two people are interseted prices can go ridiculously high, if only one person is interested there are some good deals for buyers, bad news for sellers. If you are selling try to find an auction where there won't be many items similar to yours, if buying try and find an auction with a plentiful supply of fleet or rental items.

I'm actually trying to sell my T-8 through them.
I'm tired of "foreigners" calling me up wanting me to give them access to my Acc#'s and Routing #'s.
I can't sell that rig to anyone from CA since it's not CARB compliant. -
They have a big yard north of Chehalis on the west side of I 5. Maybe you could talk to them next time you are through.
Have you tried Vancouver, B.C.? A year ago dumps were going for ridiculous prices as everyone was wanting one for 2010 Olympics work.Working Class Patriot Thanks this.
