Yea thats the same exact thing i said. I'd be way more interested in that 80ft cx7 than the 80 ft highrail.. the 80 ft quick loader with the 264 wheelbase is a beast. So i can imagine
-
I always hated every quickloader I ever ran. But I love this one! As I'm getting older and been doing this for 22yrs. I'm beginning to appreciate the lack of effort needed to load this. So far every load has fit that I thought might be too much for it. It's taken guesswork to make the loads scale that I needed to but so far I'm extremely happy about buying it . I came from a 264wb Pete highrail. I wound nt go back and I've decided the 80fter high rail is for the younger, more ambitious crowd.
Hammer166 Thanks this. -
Im young and ambitious. Pretty sure im the youngest guy on here. Im not interested in that 80 ft high rail. I have a 260 wb with a high rail. I love it. Im interested in that 80ft cx7 though

I think the 4 deck 80' high-rail was the wrong way to go. They'd have been better off to stick with 3 longer decks and kept the shotgun. The longer belly would really lower the teepee on a 10 car load, too.
Aren't the CX-7's heavy already? I know they kept the CX-9 fairly close to the weight of the 75 footer, but the funky arm on the top middle deck of the -7 would have to be a big weight gain with another foot of length in it. -
They are quite heavy. Heaviest trucks we have are pulling cx7's. I can imagine they wont be to heavyHammer166 Thanks this.

Yea i definitely think they screwed up with it. It just doesnt seem as flexible as a regular cx11
Hammer166 Thanks this. -
Yeah, every pic I've seen on ziggy's page looks like an abortion. Just doesn't seem like moving the teepee up and back is going make things any easier. Especially since the high rails always loaded heavy on the tail anyways.
-
Yea seems like your going to be tall on the back top spot if you have a big unit there.. tall or have lots of overhang
-
Maybe you should buy one of those 12 car cab over Cassens rigs on truck paper and start showing us how it’s done. If you could keep it out of the shop you could make some big money. I guarantee they haul some big loads.Hammer166 Thanks this.
