We transported four loads our of the West Point, GA terminal for Exclusive Global Logistics between the end of January 2018 and February 2018, a total of $8,100.00. In March when the first two of the invoices were due I tried to contact them at their Georgia and California office multiple times with no success. I got only voicemails. Eventually someone did answered and told me they had mailed my checks to our old address and will send payment promptly. After waiting another 30 days nothing came in the mail and now there were 4 invoices past due. I emailed a friendly letter in May and after multiple unanswered calls I mailed out a second certified letter. Lastly, the first week of June, I called their Georgia office and once again no one answered, but I have a feeling since this is a cellphone the big boss knows its me because 10 minute later the West Point dispatch employee send me a text that the checks will be cut on the next payday. Guess what... 30 days and still nothing. I texted the guy Monday and he never replied.

The reason I am airing this is because I am curious to know if anyone else in this forum has done business with this company and if they have been having payment issues with them. Secondly, tomorrow I will mail out my third certify letter and of course will mentioned the fact that I am going to take them to court. However, I delivered these to Florida, so I am not sure if I should pursue this in a small claim court in Florida or Georgia? If in Georgia can I sue for travel expenses as well?

    Thank you.

I would contact the states attorney generals office and see if they can help. They might be able to help.

Or hire a professional knee capper. Lol jk. Seriously though, start with the attorney generals office they help collection agencies collect debts. You might also try calling from a pay phone or number they wont recognize.

I hauled a load for them around the same time out of West Point Ga to Michigan for the auto show. I was paid pretty quickly afterward. Kia wanted the cars all detailed before they'd let me load them. I called EGL and told them to put me on the clock at $100 an hour. They said no problem but the Glovi5 rep at WP pitched a fit because they were on the hook to pay it. 8 hours later I rolled out of there with 5 fresh detailed Sorrentos. By the time I delivered in Detroit they were all covered in salt. They paid for the load and the delay time.

I had a broker one time that kept giving us the run around. I reminded him that I travel for work and that if he did not pay by the end of the week, I was going to drive to his office and everyone in there , man, woman, child, beast would get there ### kicked. He seemed to think that PA. was an island or something. Check came in. My uncle once had to help a broker remember his debts. Old man Potts went thru the front door, and just like a gangster movie, the broker tried to run out the back door, straight into the warm embrace of my uncle Wayne. Money paid. ### kicking averted. Take a friend. Free advice and worth every penny. PS call the customers you hauled to and let them know about your situation. News like that will travel faster than a attaboy. Good Luck

I've heard stories of them not paying guys especially when they've done multiple loads in a short period of time. This guy was about 9 loads into the montgomery to birmingham shuttles.

Thank you all for your input, they do not have a bond. They own lots of trucks... big company but no broker's bond. I had worked for them for three years prior to this happening and everything was good. I am wondering if they do this to smaller companies because a trucker around my way that did work for them uses a factory company and he has had no problem.

I am mailing my last letter today, certified of course, and pursue this till the end. As long as they are not going under I might still have a chance.

Will keep you updated. Safe travels.
