Hey and Howdy Fast! Welcome to the forum. I'm sorry you had to come to us in the manner in which we have received your presence. Rest assured we are pleased you found your way here, and will gladly receive and review all comments you care to impart up on us... OK so I got carried away... Welcome to our humble forum. Yes it is a depressing state we find our selves in these day. Like you I have been motionless for a few days. It is nice to get to drive again, I thought I might need retrained.. Oh never mind I was never trained the first time... LOL I'm a co driver and wonder the same thing sometimes, please Just fire me so I can go home and make more on unemployment... SAD... Best of luck to you and I do feel your pain, just in a sort of different way.

Thank you kind Sir for the warm welcome!
I hope you get to runnin soon too. Man, this really stinks. Don't know how it is going to turn out. Everyone sez that things will get worse as the year goes, but I cannot believe that or I would have to give up NOW. I do love my life, my hubby, my dogs and my truck. (not sure of the order lol) Keep your fingers crossed that things will turn around.

For some of you in the USA, Canadian companies are looking for o/o and comp drivers, we have a shortage of experienced drives. Might be worth a look?

Welcome to the forum! Sorry to hear this. I, too, DESPISE sitting in a parking lot for days on end with nothing to do, AARGH! Yes, it is REALLY bad and I have never seen it this bad either. I have a brother who is 11 years older than me and he was driving in the 80's and he even said it was never this bad back then even! I have NEVER seen so many trucking companies going under so fast! They say 9 million more should be losing their jobs in 2009...so get ready for much worse than this! Hey, hang around the forum, we're kind of like a support group, LOL. GL!
