My c15 needs your help!

    take out your thermostats completely, the c15 should have two, let it be full flow, cats are very sensitive to overheating, you might need a new mechanic too

    So injectors 1 & 6 are bad. My mechanic found all used injectors to give them a try before buying new ones. I noticed a difference in throttle response. The boost definitely picked up a little faster. Power feels good once boost is at 20 psi. But I was bobtail. & boost still doesn’t go past 22 psi
    I will order new injectors Monday.

    Don't do this !! Bad idea. Any engine is sensitive to high heat. T-stats control heat keeping it uniform.

    How did mechanic check injectors ? With laptop or heat gun ? Need to plug laptop in to see what is really going on. May be something simple as a fuel check valve going bad or Plugged tank breathers.

    With laptop. But he said electronically they’re working, but not mechanically.. I changed the check valve Less than a year ago because I was having issues with my truck not starting after sitting for two days. I will have to check the tank breathers. Would that cause any fuel pressure problem? Cause fuel pressure is fine.

    I was at fabick the other day for giggles rebuilt injectors are 600 new are only 800 couldn't you sell your used ones on eBay for 150 to someone that needs a core I think the cores are worth 200 ...either way I am leaning toward new when I do my inframe

    Buy through a dealer ( peterbilt, kenworth ) get reman. You will need to turn in old ones for core. Cheaper that way.

    A new not remanufactured one is o ly 200 more ....why not just sell your cores and for less then 100 more you can have new

    If you want to go through the trouble ok. Pc of advise new one don't mean they are better. Been issues with the silinoid cracking on the new ones.
