I have a 2014, d13, 10 speed. When im loaded it feels like its missing, wont pull a hill and have a hard time picking up speed. If it flat ground, empty or bobtail it will get up and go. Engine light will come and go off. Dont know what code is cuz it goes off before i can have it checked. When in high idle u can feel a light miss. Had fuel filter changed and it seems to have gotten worse since i had it changed. Any ideas, please help.

It should store the fault. It's the only way anyone is can give you any advice.

Sounds like injectors perhaps?!

Those are known for injector cup issues. Have they been replaced yet?

Dont know only be in the truck a month

For Us 010 emission truck the fault code can be read with the cluster only when they are active but can be read with the proper tool anytime, you need more information before changing any other parts , i think.
BenJohny41 and Socal Xpress Thank this. -
It sounds like an air in fuel or head gallery pressure issue as the issue is only present under high load conditions. Have a shop perform a air in fuel check that basically involves fitting a clear line to the engine’s return fuel connector. If there’s air in it that resembles beer foam, I would think that you have a failed injector to cup seal. This is known as a “basic” test. An advanced test requires installing a series of other lines in various places to pinpoint the area of air introduction. But in my experience, if the return fuel is a foam, injector/cup sealing is a factor. The overflow valve at the front of the head can also give a similar feeling if it is unable to retain the proper pressure. Normal pop pressure is around 45psi. Hope this helps.
