If that Volvo day cab is out of Chicago and is white, then I'll go ahead and run myself off the road before they get the chance.

 

No respect to the moron in day cab who jumps in and out thinks his job is more important then my 4,000 miles run.
I consider them next step after pizza driver high school boy. Not CDL.

I play rock paper scissors through the windshield to the other driver.

Only about 3 out of 10 drivers pick up on it and play it while laughing. The other 7 just think i'm retarded and swear at me in punjab.

I don't know, I guess I don't feel like I'm more important than the next guy.

I have to get in, drop or pickup and go to my next stop everyday all day. It's not a big deal (to me) to be courteous and wait an extra couple minutes for a bigger truck to get in or out of a spot.

 

if one is paid hourly, then that person could not give a flip about waiting, but i personally (and for about the past 2 decades or more) have been dedicated. meaning i get paid either by a weekly salary or each drop/pick up i made.

as a result, the more stops i make in my time, the more i get paid (NOT HOURLY) ... or i got paid on a salary, and that's it...NO OVERTIME, so i just ain't got the time to wait for a moron who cannot back up, to try backing up for (i have actually been a witness to this) 45 minutes to an hour of trying...!!!!

some places actually, go out and tell the moron backing up, to go park, and try later!!!
