My 2nd stop is a drop/hook MT. Two trailers here, one with a flat off the rim, the other about 60 lbs low. Looked all over for a hydrocodone to cope, didn't see one. So I got out my air hose, filled it up, and sent a break down on the other.
Life is cruel!!! LOL

I am all about a thorough pre trip too, but its probably easier to crawl under to check brakes, etc.Oxbow, sawmill, Shock Therapy and 13 others Thank this.

All kinds of different ways. On my setup I can shim it on both ends of spreader bar of just adjust the air regulator on the stinger.Oxbow, Shock Therapy, cke and 12 others Thank this.

Depends on the state. Most like you to have a 14 ft 1 in spread to permit for the max axle weight. Ohio will give me 25000 on the stinger but it is hard to get that because it will canter lever more weight on my drives. It is a balancing act basicly.Oxbow, Shock Therapy, Tug Toy and 9 others Thank this.

Guy who owns the place where we park was going to send this tractor to the scrap yard. I caught him before he could and offered to match scrap price for it which saves him from hauling it up there. "But it's old and doesn't run anymore and the brakes never really worked very well." Right up my alley, lol. Got tinkering with it this morning. New battery, some cables, bled the fuel system and she runs like a champ. Got all the linkages freed up, hooked the 5 foot brush hog back up and started mowing the yard with it. Not really my tractor of choice and i dont really need it but I just hate to see good old iron be sent to the scrap yard. It's a 1964 Nuffield 10/42. 3 cyl diesel. I've never seen one before. Pretty neat!

I didn't hear if anybody got hurt or not. I bet it was a ride.
It's entertaining to watch those clowns move trailers out there. They're either sitting still or 100 mph.johndeere4020, Zeviander, wore out and 9 others Thank this.
