Are 2006 14L Detroit’s just EGR?

Yes that’s what I mean. They are a little easier to deal with than the dpf and def. do you know if the 14L are decent?

I've a 14L with 1.25 million miles, no inframe, running strong.

Just an Egr valve and Egr cooler on it. It's a good dependable engine. Get it set at 515 hp and just drive it like you stole it.

Detroit bottom ends are bullet proof. Just make sure you maintain the coolant. Done allot of inframes because of cavitation eating liners.

I’ve got over 1 million on my 07 14L set at 550hp and I never had a problem with the egr before the egr got gone...

Had new head and rod/mains done at 950k... So partial inframe, I guess.Oldironfan Thanks this.
