Rusty bolt your not paid in 15 to 2 hours because a bank doesn't ACH deposit that fast and if you did wire it's still not that fast !!

Rusty bolt you should know it's common sense to deal business with brokers that are financially stable. Would you put your money in a bank that isn't financially stable? Then why take a load with a "broker" who doesn't have credit history or a past history of not paying??? Jesus .. help me here.

Pump price? Fuel cards are competitive. The more you spend the more you save.. Economics 101

Not to mention the tire discounts, tax exempt states for repairs and parts.

What did Jimmy Hoffa do back in his day? He shaked up drivers with them understanding they are being RIPPED OFF. So, go right ahead and try your best to help me understand that I am wrong. We just need another Jimmy Hoffa. Truckers nowadays suck from a company's nipple. NO BALLS AT ALL

Got news for you. I get paid to my EFS card. Those funds can be accessed by me immediately. Sure I can't walk in to a Wendy's and swipe my card. But I can get cash off it when I fuel or use it at any place that takes EFS (check or card). So, don't tell me I'm not paid in 15-2.

And if you think for one minute that you can go buy a truck with one year experience and only get work from brokers that pay quick, you have a lot of learning to do. Those guys already have experienced drivers lined up waiting to pull for them. Your 1 year driving really shows. SMH

You are 100% correct on the EFS check !! Thank you for your honesty. However you are completely dishonest on the buy a truck. I purchased my truck before I started driving and it was from Walgreens. I actually paid more than what it was worth, but only because I knew I could put more miles than 1 million miles before engine overhaul. There's a huge surplus of trucks on the market and you don't need credit for a truck nowadays.

Brokers that do business with you less than 30 days? TQL, Uber Freight, JB, so many others can't remember. Coyote is loaded with loads and they just want 30 days. There are 90 day brokers and 6 month brokers and some 1 year brokers, but honestly it just seems like all of them is playing a monopoly game. It's stinks with BS. So if you open your authority don't worry, just prove the broker you are 3 things - on time, damage free, and most importantly SAFE

Help me understand your basic question. At this point and time, all you have done is make statements, suppositions and rehashed a bit of rhetoric. Could you please explain your fixation on Jimmy Hoffa? Seems a bit odd. Been gone since 1975.

A question of your tenure within the trucking industry has been posed multiple times, only now do we, the readers, find you have only one year of operating a truck. After one year, you are now the oracle. No real knowledge or experience of operating your own business or owned a truck.

Your posts are clearly one of a very disgruntled person. Maybe trucking is just not for you. Perhaps some other form of employment would be better suited to your temperment. Have you considered seeking some education or counseling services to assist with improving your coping, social and life skills. Some of the benifits are learning to make plans, to be prepared. From some comments in your posts, it seems you skills in those areas are less than adequate. Certainly that could lead to a less than successful endeavor. Perhaps a consideration to trolling elsewhere is a better idea.

So what you're actually saying is "I don't need to understand why anyone else does what they do. I'm just trying to stir the #### pot".

This is how it goes. People like to be comfortable. If they’ve never experienced their own authority they may not ever feel the same way you do. Same way the company drivers look at leased on owner ops. It’s all an evolution thing and most will evolve or stay the same in a different way.

You are on the money with what you say. The extra paperwork is not much, the fuel discounts can be comparable, and the waiting to be paid isn’t all outlaws and townspeople. BUT, if you never knew this, it may be hard to understand and may be daunting for some to imagine one man can do this by himself so to speak.

Your question, I get it, lol. It’s like everybody wearing moccasins because with tennis shoes you gotta buy em/ string em up/ and keep them tied! But with all the benifits you get from tennis shoes, you try to imagine why anyone would play ball and long distance walk in moccasins and it’s crazy to think! But some people are just comfortable in moccasins, period. That’s my 2 cents. Same reason why one prefers key west and another prefers Montana. Why one chooses a Toyota Prius because of fuel efficiency and another chooses a v8 sedan. Etc etc. BUT- if people didn’t choose in these ways the economy wouldn’t be as diverse as it is, which benifts company drivers, owner ops & small carriers

All this jabber about Jimmy Hoffa..like he was some kind of genius saint and helper of the common man. He relied on extortion, threats an the mob to get his way. Cause you know...that's how rational people handle their business dealings.

Extortion in case you have trouble understanding -
the practice of obtaining something, especially money, through force or threats.
    synonyms: blackmail, shakedown;
    formal exaction
"arrested on a charge of extortion"

    It appears he did..

This one is included just cause @Dave_in_AZ

In short...I really have no issue with Unions. I do have an issue with thugs dressed up as business men or pretending to have the common mans back when all you really have/want is his wallet. This isn't a dig at unions, or union workers...if anyone Hoffa is my target. Someone beat me to it though.../rimshot!

I realize I shouldn't feed you, but eh...starving trolls make me sad. :( at lest i hope your trolling..

His middle name was chosen well...Jimmy Riddle Hoffa. Lots good books out there on him if one desires more on Hoffa.

Sirscrapntruckalot - I'd agree with you but then we'd both be wrong..
