It isn't a Landstar thing man, it's just people sadly. Got hung out by Beloit last week and had to get a hotel room overnight.

Doing my pretrip in the morning and so e jackwagon had lowered the landing gear down until 3 inches from and ground and undid the hood straps.

I'm under the hood every morning anyway so he actually saved me about 3 seconds but still....

I hear ya. I wasn't implying it was a Landstar thing. But I AM implying that we work in a horrible field. Truckers are a-holes and I'm at the point where I'm gonna just cut everyone off. I already don't talk to anyone on the road. I mind my business and keep to myself. This is the 4th time in 2 years that someone has messed with my ride. People can kiss my ###. I'm at the point where I'm starting to hate everyone.

Believe it or not the people that mess with your equipment are the people you work with. All my issues were at company yards.

I definitely believe it. When I was a company driver, I saw a driver mess with another driver's truck. Happened at their Richfield terminal. I made sure to knock on the guy's door and let him know so that he could look his truck over. I had some load bars stolen off my truck at the same terminal. I have faith in noone but my wife and daughter at this point.

On the 2019s I cant check the parking brake for the pre check it auto neutrals and removes urge to go.
Parking brake set trailer off, it worked on trucks with clutch but new autos?
I can do a three way check.
Do I try anyway and tell him it auto neutrals?

Id heard the 2019s didnt allow the ability to do a brake test like needed on CDL exam. Its a new genius KW safety thing. I think thats what hes talking about. If so i heard they were trying to get exemptions from the state but I have no idea for sure

That's weird. Doesn't make sense to not have that ability.
