Teltec makes a dual digital gauge. The new trailers you can get plumbed to the front....used to be $100 on a new order. It don't matter if your not level....you'll get closer by watching the level of product in your trailer then watching the gauge. The trailer gauge is usually more accurate on uneven ground then the truck....don't know why.

It works well mine is that way. I got one those wraps for my hoses, laid the little line in it. Friend of mine got real fancy set of lights on adjustable pressure switches. A yellow for close a red for stop. Looks at an in mirror, borrows power from antilock brakes

LOL, ya know, I was talking to him about the hopper deal a few months ago. He said “There’s 2 rules if ya wanna make money at this: load heavy, ride fast.”

He was dang sure right about that too.

I hear ya on watching the level of the product but I was thinkin bout my pneumatic (since that’s what I usually pull) so gauges are the only way.

I agree about the trailer gauge being more accurate. I’ve taken to loading the front hole and the back hole instead of the traditional middle and back. It’s easier to stay accurate that way and plus I think it rides better.

Exactly how I was thinking of doing it.

I never thought about the light idea. That’s clever.

I have this trailer plumbed to the front but have never hooked it up. I normally load on a scale.

Truck wash complete. $120 later I’m across the street cleaning my windows so I can see.

4states I believe. They come in red and blue. Have a inside/outside temp gauge around here someplace to match it.
