Forgive me please for enjoying a chuckle. It cracks me up when someone with no mechanical experience tries to describe a truck issue. I'm hoping that what you're describing can be overridden. When I'm hunting for my next truck I'll have zero patience for that crap. I'm betting its a software thing, at least I hope it is. I'm ride or die with KW and I'd hate to bail on them over something that dumb, but it's a guarantee that I will. And at that point I'm hoping Peterbilt isn't doing the same dam thing, cuz I'm gonna have to start looking at Volvo.

I would seriously have paid to hear that in person, that's priceless. You gotta love a guy that can make that comment when he's in a bad spot. I love it

 

They don't make those trucks identical. A lot of the features may be available in both brands, but they are not the same. And forgive me again for not giving you credit for whatever you may know. I made an assumption based on how you tried to describe your issue. Sounded like my wife trying to describe an issue she's having with her car before I finally just take it out and try to figure it out on my own. It was just a communication thing.

 

Agreed, and it made for a good story if nothing else lol.
