Saw this firsthand in Haugan, MT one evening. Got called in for a random paperwork check, guy 20 seconds behind me walks in with, "What the hell do y'all want now?!?"

Scalemaster closed my permit book and wished me a good evening with the very slightest of smiles and when I returned the salutation with a grin and a head tilt towards the idiot, a twinkle came to his eye. It was awesome.

We had a officer with a 22 year old sitting in his truck on the officer's home a couple days ago. Officer gets the kids and gets ready for school, work. Asks the 22 y/o can I help you? Kid: no. Officer: you are on private property you need to leave. Kid pulls a handgun and sticks it into the officers face. The officer pulled his own and told the dirtbag to drop it and get out.

Fortunately for the dirt bag he's out and cuffed after a fight.

When the counts are finished being added against him it's probably going to be 60 to life in pine bluff corrections which is not a good place.

With all that said, friend and mine found a officer in the area and told him to relay our love and best wishes to that particular officer and make understood that they do good work. (*Especially compared to the wolf packs back home...) in the area.

As a side note some local schools are beefed up with permanently assigned sheriff, local and state police against active shooters now on site. I will be taking training for enhanced carry by the State police against active shooters so I can do what the training dictates should someone be stupid enough to play terrorist and try to shoot up the college or whatever.

Yeah, but you missed the part where he called the Federal Marshals and they arrested all the cops at the scale. True story!!

Look this is a business, it is a business where they are regulators and enforcers.

We all are part of the same game and if you are professional and answer in a professional manner without giving anyone any crap, then you will not have to worry about a thing.

If you have a preconceive notion that there will be trouble, then there will be because YOU triggered it.

After decades of living on this earth, I have had only a few times I had to deal with law enforcement, a few traffic stops, a couple home/business break ins and even living overseas never ever did I feel I needed to worry about them.

I was inspected twice this week. Both times, "what do you need officer, is there anything else I can provide officer?"

Eezzee, peezzee. Be safe driver. And I'm in and out.

Crap man, the good book says treat others as you would like to be treated. One of the simplest concepts known to man. Yet, everyday, some YouTube cowboy posts a vid about what a hard ### he can be by teaching an LEO about our Constitution. Stupid mother effers.

that's why hammer and i and a few others just DO NOT cop an attitude. they call us in for a reason, "just do it".....many times, they just want to make sure your log book is up to date, or your insurance, permit, registration etc, then you are on your way.

the ONE time in IN, i got pulled in, the scale master was a (yes) little old lady, BUT troopers were indeed in the back room..

i had a missing mud flap. i did not know this, could have fallen off as i was driving, who knows.

i had all my paperwork with me, i walked in nice and quiet, said "hi, what can i do for you"

told me the flap was gone, and said one of the guys there would most likely write me up, but gave me a warning fix it write up (no ticket) offered me a butterscotch candy, and off i went.

many should be surprised what you can get away with, with SOME respect and common courtesy towards others..!!!!!
