Im not with swift but it would be in your best interest to test out in manual unless you want a restriction on your license.
aussiejosh, Samuelh and DTP Thank this. -
I don’t have restrictions on my license but I know they road test when you go and ride for them like a lot of companies do. I hate manual and just wanted to see if they tested in one
-
Isn't your Honda civic a manual ?
Klleetrucking, Lepton1 and Texas_hwy_287 Thank this. -
I own a Volkswagen and yea it is I just hate having to double clutch every time I need to change gears it throws me off especially down shifting. Down shifting a car is a way easier I do it all the time. I don’t have to rev my rpms and can actually remember what gear I’m in considering it only has 5
-
When you want to downshift check your speed hope it helps.
45= 4+5 =9
35= 3+5=8
25= 2+5=7
15= 1+5= 6Just passing by, SingingWolf and #wishfulthinking Thank this. -

Nice to not have the restriction but my brand new fl'er automatic is the shiit. Yeah still manual at Swift academy mostly 2013 volvos. Not because Swift prefers manual it's just economics man.. If it aint broke dont fix it.
Having good equipment and auto trans has made my life so much easier. Manual vs auto is old hat but just sayin. Better safer easier for new drivers anyway. -
Float the gears in the truck. It's learning to shift the truck without using the clutch. MUCH EASIER.kemosabi49, Lepton1 and DevJohnson Thank this.
-
I agree and that's how I drive, but when most companies do a road test they expect you to use to clutch.tscottme Thanks this.
