My salesman Steve has been great. I gave fitz the opportunity to match there price or get with in 2k or so and they said there's no way.So I'll make the 600 mile trip to save 12k any day. They even included a Texas bumper and hogebuilt 30" quarter fenders and other odds and ends fitz didn't.

 

Oh yeah, even more. I pulled close to 49K many times. I have a w900l with aerocab.

 

As a comparison, I've got a 2013 Fitz Columbia midroof worth a 12.7. With 300 gal, my tanker equipment including hydropak, 10 hoses, fittings and 2 tool bags among other junk, I'm 19960 MT. I believe with a cat it's 200-300 heavier.

I also second the Fitz motors being crap. I bought this knowing the head was already replaced, otherwise I might of passed. They do not use OEM parts on their motor rebuilds. It's mostly the cheapest part they can get, usually Chinese aftermarket.

 

If you want to go with a Pete rather than a KW, check out Elkhorn Valley Truck Sales. They put my W9 together but I think they may just build Petes now. I know they always sort of specialized in them. Did a good job imo. Had it for 2 1/2 years now and it has been good to me. They build with Cats btw.
