Why not lease on with a trucking company until you get the finances together to go with Landstar, Mercer, or Admiral Merchants Motor Freight.
I know several 0/0's that do real well with Greatwide and have been there for years. If they weren't doing pretty good, they wouldn't have stayed so long.

If you aren't making enough money why stay? Maybe being an O/O was a bad choice.
JimFromEarth Thanks this. -
With the hundreds of companies that you can lease to, you are sticking with a sinking ship?
JimFromEarth and Socal Xpress Thank this. -
Hopefully you realized your misfortune before it is too late.
Like other have said. Lease on to a larger outfit that can provide you with a trailer. Or find an outfit that offers power only.
Good luck.Tug Toy and JimFromEarth Thank this. -

One thing about the trucking business, there's always somebody trying to rip somebody else off.
There is a guy that I know, just because we knew some of the same people, that got a connection at the ports and opened up a trucking business.
He has never been happier and continues to steadily grow because he loves to steal off of his owner operators that work for him. He literally takes money out of everyone's paycheck.
Buddy you got to get out of there and find a better ship. There are good companies out there that you can make money.
Myself, if I was in a situation to lease on to someone, for me would be Mercer.
All of the good things that I've ever heard about them were completely reinforced when I spoke with someone there.
But you got to get out of there as soon as possible because if not you're going to go down with the ship or you may even go down before the ship does.Tug Toy, Snailexpress and JimFromEarth Thank this.
