    Couldn't agree more! I always paid good as a broker regardless of the freight. That's why I have great relationships with my carriers!

    Well I think that’s more common in the van freight, when 46,000 lbs of paper rolls are being loaded & the shipper requests a newer trailer so the wood won’t give in when the huge paper rolls come in... in flatbed you’ll get the “no holes on trailer floor” from time to time.

    I agree that does make sense! I used to work with International Paper and they did have those requirements it figures!

    Have never been asked about, or turned down due to equipment age. Only turned down once due to my authority being too new. That broker is on my bad list.

    Guys on home time figure the wife is at work. So why not make a couple hundred and still be home when she gets there.
