The only reason they would have for refusing to complete the training is if you failed to disclose something on your driving record that they asked for. If you know something is there that you lied about, best to come clean before you leave for training and talk with the recruiter to see if it will be a problem. Usually things that you don't want employers to find out about are easily found with a simple search. Public records have a nasty habit of staying public for a very long time, and you would be amazed what information about you is public.

truck co's use DMV background checks AND general character background checks which could mean credit and criminal checks. There are many co's that provide this service, as does credit checks. (Experian trans something and another) So the co you're applying to might use any number of co's that do this. If your background is clean, no worries ! Same with DMV. YOU should know just what's in your file, right ?

Just about all the major carriers have their own web site on it you will find the driver employment section where they will stipulate the maximum driver infringements allowed eg.. no more then 3 moving violations in last 3 years no DUI's in last 5 years etc etc if you've got these then best look somewhere else.

Go to your DMV's website. You can request an official, certified copy of your 10 year MVR history.

Go online and pull your MVR. I pull one for every person before I hire them. It’s $10 for a uncertified copy that will let you see it right then on a pdf file. All you need is name, Ssn, date of birth, dL number and a debit card for the $10. Very simple to do
